Wild West EV – Level 2 Charging Station Support

White Tesla Destination Chargers (Tesla Owners)

If you drive a Tesla:

  • Simply plug in — no extra steps needed. (Do not press the large button on the end of the cable that releases the magic dock for non-Telsa EV’s)
  • Charging is automatically billed to the credit card on file with your Tesla account.
  • You only pay for the power used during that session (kWh-based).

Non-Tesla EVs at Tesla Destination Chargers

Our Tesla destination chargers include an integrated J1772 adapter for non-Tesla vehicles. Follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the release button on the charger handle so the integrated J1772 adapter stays attached to the NACS plug.
  2. Pull the handle out from the dock while keeping the J1772 adapter engaged.
  3. Plug the J1772 connector firmly into your non-Tesla EV’s charge port.

Tip: Make sure the adapter remains locked onto the handle before you pull it from the dock. If the adapter separates, re-seat it fully before charging.

Wattzilla Chargers

Look for the large gray box stations with bright red J1772 cables.

  • Insert your credit card at the station to authorize power.
  • Stations are billed by the hour at $6 per hour.
  • Billing continues until you press the Stop button on the station.

Remember: Press Stop when you’re finished so you are not charged for unused time.
